Rafal Kieliszek
Rafal Kieliszek is the founder and CEO of National Mattress Outlet Plus+. With more than six years within the mattress industry, Rafal’s dynamic experience includes manufacturing, retail operations, business development, digital marketing, and e-commerce. His wholistic and diverse skillset grants tremendous knowledge from which he operates the company’s corporate stores on a full time basis; in addition to being actively involved with franchise
operations.
His emergence into the entrepreneurial landscape of the mattress manufacturing business was in 2012, following the completion of a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Ted Rogers School of Business, Ryerson University. Rafal’s first steps into the industry involved the production of all types of mattresses for both retail and commercial customers.
Turning his attention to the retail side of the industry, Rafal has spent the last half decade holding a varying tiers of positions that contribute to an efficiently running enterprise; working as a delivery drier, store associate, operations manger, web developer, marketer, and chief executive officer.
What began from a small industrial retail unit with less than twenty mattresses has turned into monumental success, due to Rafal’s driven spirit and ingenuity to bolster the company’s web presence and focus on digital marketing. As the business began to grow, Rafal ensured he maintained knowledgeable in every aspect of the company at scale.
Building National Mattress Outlet Plus+ to three corporate locations which service the entire Greater Toronto Area, Rafal has developed the brand to be able to challenge the nation’s largest mattress retailers, winning Consumer’s Choice Award in the GTA for two years in a row.
Understanding that the business model he’d constructed had the potential to be a successful national brand, Rafal began a franchise program in February 2016— enabling other aspiring professionals to achieve & exceed their life goals through living the entrepreneurial dream.
Finding and encouraging talented teams for its franchises, National Mattress Outlet Plus+ is on its way to becoming one of the top mattress retailers in Canada.
